This four-day insurance workshop offered in Toronto and Vancouver, is designed to assist the individual to obtain the necessary knowledge to pass the LLQP certification and provincial exams.
Although the seminar will be beneficial for LLQP students with any provider, Foran Financial Institute highly recommends using the Advocis/Foran LLQP Study Material.
Advocis/Foran Foran LLQP students have a significantly higher pass rate than the national average.
This Advocis/Foran seminar will be beneficial for anyone preparing to pass the LLQP certification and provincial exams required for an insurance licence in Canada.
Content: The Foran LLQP Workshop covers all twelve Advocis/Foran workbook modules:
- Module One - Financial and Insurance Industry Overview
- Module Two - Life Insurance Products
- Module Three - Accident and Sickness Insurance
- Module Four - Group Insurance
- Module Five - Underwriting, Issue and Claims
- Module Six - Professional Standards
- Module Seven - Common Law, Contracts Law and Life Insurance
- Module Eight - Investment Products Other Than Life Insurance
- Module Nine - Fundamentals of Insurance Investments
- Module Ten - Retirement
- Module Eleven - Taxation
- Module Twelve - Needs Analysis
The workshop is interactive and focuses on the topics that tested on the exams. Students will receive the Foran LLQP Quiz and Answer Books, which contain multiple-choice questions, allowing student to test their knowledge before their exam. Additional case studies are also handed out at the workshop.
Advocis Certification Exam:
Students who purchased the Advocis/Foran LLQP material can write their Advocis Certification Exam the following morning (Day Five) from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Subject to availability, they may also be able to write on Day Four of the seminar from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm. Please let Foran Financial know your preference at least one week before the start of the seminar.
(Students who have purchased the LLQP study material from a different provider must write their provider's exam and are not eligible to write the Advocis/Foran certification exam.)

Note on Foran Continuing Education (CE) Credits: Foran Financial Institute issues CE Credits for all of its licensing seminars. However, it is at the discretion of your compliance department whether Foran CE Credits fill CE Credit requirements.

Prior to joining Foran Financial Institute, Mr. Planche worked in the insurance industry for 26 years and specialized in sales, management and training.
