Foran's Mutual Funds seminar will support those preparing to write their Mutual Funds exam. (Based on courses administered by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, and the Canadian Securities Institute.)
This two-day seminar will appeal to individuals who wish to obtain a thorough understanding of the mutual funds materials.
Content: The seminar covers investment terminology, financial statement analysis, economics and various types of securities. It also covers: setting up a mutual fund; varying investment objectives of funds; types of plans; taxation matters; insurance products; regulatory matters and ethics.
