This one-day seminar helps prepare the students to write the case studies on the CFP Examination. Each session of the CFP examination (morning and afternoon) will consist of approximately 50 stand-alone multiple-choice questions and two case studies. The case studies will have 12 to 15 multiple-choice questions related to each case study.
The total examination ( both sessions) will be approximately 100 stand-alone multiple choice questions and four case studies with an approximate total of 50 related questions. People often find the case studies more challenging than the other portion of their exam.

Students will have the opportunity to attempt two case studies in the morning session followed by a thorough review of each case study. In the afternoon session two additional case studies will be assigned followed by a thorough review of each case study. The instructors will highlight how to recognize important information and to disregard irrelevant information in the cases. Time management techniques and methods on recognizing distracters in multiple-choice questions will also be discussed. In addition, take-home case studies will be handed out at the end of the seminar.
Registrations for courses to be held in July, 2010 and beyond will be subject to HST (13% in Ontario)
