Vancouver Seminar Enrollment/Reschedule Policies

Enrollment Policy

  • We do recommend early registration. Full payment is required 10 days in advance of the starting date of your seminar. 

  • All prices are in Canadian dollars. GST of 5% will be added for Vancouver seminars. Study materials are included in the seminar tuition. Shipping costs are extra and depend on destination and weight. Please contact our registration department if you have questions.

  • WME and CFP® seminar materials are shipped by courier only.  Please inquire about rates.

Payments

  • We accept payments by Visa, Mater Card, American Express, or company cheque. Please make company cheques payable to Foran Financial Institute, Ltd. Payments to be received in full, 15 days prior to the start date of the seminar.

  • There will be a $25.00 charge for NSF cheques. A NSF cheque must be replaced by cash, money order or certified cheque

  • Official Income Tax Receipts will be given on the first day of the seminar. Duplicate tax receipts will not be issued.


Withdrawal, Rescheduling, Refund Policy

  • Withdrawal and reschedule requests must be received no later than 11 days before the start of the seminar. Requests must be received in writing (mail or email.) 

  • If less than 11 business days notice is given, there will be no refund or reschedule. Courier charges are not refunded. A $50 administration fee will be deducted from the refund of the course tuition. Materials must be returned to Foran Financial Institute in their original condition within 10 business days of the initial seminar registration. There will be no refund for the course materials received 10 business days after the initial course registration. The student will be allowed to keep the materials.

  • To reschedule a seminar, a request must be received in writing at least 11 business days before the start of the seminar. The first reschedule is complimentary. A $50 administration fee will be applied to any rescheduling thereafter. Credit is valid for one year only. If less than ten business days notice is given, no reschedule will be allowed and no refund of course fees will be given.

  • If a (1) reschedule is made and a student then wishes to withdraw from the rescheduled class, no refund will be granted, but a credit will be issued, which can be applied to any seminar for one year from the initial seminar date.

  • Cancellation on, or after, the first day of the course will not be refunded any tuition.

  • Materials must be returned in their original packaging/condition along with the original receipt, to be accepted for a refund.

  • There will be no refund of courier charges.

  • Processing of refund requires 15 business days.


Seminar Cancellation

  • Every effort will be made to run all the seminars without changing dates and instructors. However Foran Financial Institute reserves the right to cancel courses, change fees, days, hours and instructors without prior notice.

  • There will be a full refund for the classes cancelled by Foran. Foran's liability is limited only to the reimbursement of the tuition fee, less applicable charges.
