This three day seminar will interest those preparing for the Canadian Securities Partners’, Directors’ and Senior Officers’ Exam.

PDO Content Covered:

This seminar covers content in the Partners’, Directors’ and Senior Officers’ course, including: securities regulation and capital markets in Canada; ethics; corporate governance; directors and officers liability; managing risk in the securities industry in Canada; consequences of non-compliance; private client brokerage and discount brokerage businesses; investment banking business; capital requirements and the distribution of securities in Canada.

In addition, contemporary issues facing partners and directors in the Canadian securities industry are discussed. Participants will receive the Foran sample exam book based on the PDO content, which contains approximately 1000 questions and answers and a sample exam.
